ingredents for christian prayer and deliverance

Ingredients of Christian Prayer & Deliverance:

Consist of all things needful to the process-but they are used only under the order and direction of the Holy Spirit.

This lesson discusses the basic ingredients of the prayer deliverance process. The ingredients are: recognition, confession, repentance, forgiveness, reckoning structures as dead on the cross, healing, comfort, prayer for a new spirit, heart, and mind, deliverance, discipline, and the importance of congregating with other believers, church, study groups home groups etc. Praying aloud with the individual through out the process is imperative.

I am conscious of nothing against myself, yet, I am not by this acquitted; but the one who examines me is the Lord Therefore, do not go on passing judgment before the time, but wait until the Lord comes who will both bring to light the things hidden in the darkness and disclose the motives of men's hearts; and then each man's praise will come to him from God 1 Corinthians 4:4-5 (hidden areas of the heart to be illuminated by the Holy Spirit).

INGREDIENTS:

Recognition of the problem: "But all things become visible when they are exposed by the light.

We help the client recognize their problems by examining the fruit in their lives - "For there is no good tree which produces bad fruit: nor, on the other hand, a bad tree which produces good fruit. "Luke 6:43

Asking questions:

"Listen to me, you who pursue righteousness, who seek the Lord: Look to the rock from which you were hewn, and to the quarry from were which you dug. Look to Abraham your father, and Sarah who gave birth to you in pain. isaiah 51:1-16

Cause and effect; the Quarry is your family ,we're looking for our sinful responces to things that happened in our lives!

This is all about the individual's sinful response to those things that happened to him or her, and not about bad people or bad parents.

Repentance is exercising a Godly grief based on love for God and for those who have been wounded, resulting in real change. NOT by simply wishing we'd done better, or feeling broken-hearted for ourselves. That would be remorse, "sorry that I got caught"

Confession of our sins and, praying for one another, so that you may be healed James 5:16. However, use wisdom as to who you share what with. Sometimes in an effort to be transparent we may share something about ourselves that the wounded vessel that faces us cannot handle. The next thing you know, what you shared in confidence is out in the street. Never share anything with someone that you would be afraid to hear coming back to you from a different source.

Forgiveness is not an option for a Christian. "For if you forgive men for their transgressions, your Heavenly Father will forgive you, but if you do not forgive me, your Heavenly Father will not forgive your transgressions. "Matthew 6:14-1 5
Forgiveness is giving up your right to be angry at who harmed you!
Judgement; you may have either married, or have become what you judge

This entire process is based on forgiveness. Without forgiveness there is no heating, no repentance, no humitity, no love, and no freedoml

We must forgive our self. If we do not we are spitting into the face of God, by calling unctean what He has called clean. In essence we are saying that our Lord and Savior's horrid death on the cross wasn't good enough. "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. "John 1:9

We must forgive GOD - God is not guilty, but forgiveness means that we repent of what we have held against Him and let it go to the cross. "We beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. "11 Corinthians 5:20 "The foolishness of man subverts his way, and his heart rages against the Lord. "Proverbs 19:3

Healing and comforting the wounded "The Father of all mercies and God of all comfort. Comforts us in all our affliction so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God." 11 Corinthians 1: 3-4

For a new and right spirit "renew a steadfast spirit in me... "Psalms 51:10-1 7

For a new heart I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you a heart of stone and give you a hearts of flesh " Ezekiel 37:8, Ezekiel 11:19

For a new mind "So I tell you this, and insist on it in the Lord, that you must no longer live as the gentiles do, in futility of their thinking They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the lfe of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts."

Bringing structures to death "... You have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God..." Colossians 3:5

"...consider the members of your earthly body as dead to immorality, impurity passion, evil desire, and greed." Colossians 3:5 ( Structures, patterns, habits.)

"But now you also, put them all aside: anger, wrath malice, slander and abusive speech from your mouth. Do not lie to one another, since you laid aside the old self with its evil practices, and have put on the new self who is being renewed to a true knowledge according to the image of the one who created him. " Colossians 3:8-10

Put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience... Colossians 3:12

lay aside the old self.. "Ephesians 4:22

be renewed in the spirit of your mind.. "Ephesians 4:23

"put on the new self.~ "Ephesians 4:24

If by the spirit you are putting to death the deeds of the body, you will live." Romans 8:13

Discipline to walk in a new way

To provide strength and stability to the freshly healed heart:

God did not give us a spirit of fear, but a spirit of power and love of self discipline. 11 Timothy 1:7

lam with you in spirit, rejoicing to see your good discipline and the stability of your faith... " Colossians 2:5, Romans 6:11-1 4

Deliverance

We have the power to bind and to loose, as well as exorcise when necessary

Whatever you shall bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven, and whatever you shall loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven." Matthew 16:19, 18:18

He gave them authority over unclean spirits to cast them out, and to heal every kind of disease and every kind of sickness. "Matthew 10:1

Jesus told us how dangerous it was to cast away demons without dismantling the house of character and refilling that empty clean and swept house with the Holy Spirit. Darkness must flee in the presence of the light.

When the unclean spirit goes out of a man it passes through waterless places seeking rest, and not finding any, it says, I will return to my house from which I came. And when it comes, it finds it clean and swept and put in order Then it goes and takes along seven other spirits more evil than itself and they go in and live there; and the last state of the man becomes worse than the first. "Luke 11:24-26

SPIRITUAL REBELLION

I don't know whether we began when we were conceived or existed before, in the heavens. For the purpose of these questions, let's suppose that we existed before. Answer as honestly as you can, but without too much thought, according to first impressions.

If a group of us were sitting in the heavens, watching the angels and the saints, and Jesus came walking in, and said, "I'd like three volunteers to go to earth for me," would you have been one of them?

if Jesus walked up to you and asked, "Would you go to earth for me?," would you have replied, Oh, boy, hallelujah, right away," or "Okay, drat"?

If you had to come, but had your choice, would you choose this century? Would you be born at the time and place you were? In what century (time and place) would you be born?

Would you choose your parents? Your father? Your mother?
Would you choose to be a boy or a girl?
Would you choose your body? Your face? Your mind? Your personality?

Do you like you?

Are you beautiful? handsome?

Are you good looking? attractive? desirable? choose-able? Would someone choose you? Should they? Me you loveable?

if Jesus came up to you right now and said, "I'll give you your choice; you can either go right straight to heaven, or go all the way through life," which would you choose?

we may add the two evangelism explosion questions:

1. If you died tonight, where would you spend eternity?
2. If you died tonight, and Jesus met you at the pearly gates and asked you why He should let you in, what would be your answer?

Negative answers may indicate a lack of freedom to be oneself, deep wounds and guilts, rebellion and anger against God.

Save me from bloodguilt, O God, the God who saves me, and my tongue will sing of your Righteousness
0 Lord, open my lips, and my mouth will declare your praise. You do not delight in sacrifice, or I would bring it; you do not take pleasure in burnt offerings. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you wilt not despise.
