COUNSELOR: (for masturbation)
Lord Jesus. thank You for creating ___________
and for the gift of who he is. But now that wonderful, original design has became distorted.
Jesus, we pray in agreement and invite You into this situation.
What began as a tension release has become a compulsion that is causing problems at home, work, etc.
Having came to an understanding of the wounds that led to the need for release, we ask You to draw near with forgiveness and healing.
COUNSFLEE: I forgive _______________ for _____________. Lord,
I ask you to forgive me for my sinful responses, the judgments I made (name then: specifically).
COUNSELOR: In the name of Jesus, I declare that the forgiveness you have given out is given back to you. - you are forgiven.
Lord, we ask You to take the compulsion and nail it to the cross. Kill the power that drove it, and grant
the strength to discipline mind and body as he builds new activities that bring release In his life.
Lord, wash away any defilement; wash away guilt and shame, and restore him. Build his spirit so he can continue to choose You and Your ways.
Grant him the courage to ask for help when he needs it.
